25th August Report FileNine years ago today, violent military clearance operations forced over 700,000 Rohingya men, women, and children to flee their ancestral homes in Rakhine State, Myanmar, leading to one of the largest humanitarian crises of our time.
Nearly a decade later, over a million Rohingya refugees remain displaced, living in exile under precarious conditions while awaiting justice, international protection, and a clear path toward a safe, voluntary, and dignified return to their homeland.

Remembrance is more than reflection; it is a call to action. Today, we stand alongside the Rohingya community to demand:
- Justice & Accountability: Full legal accountability for mass atrocities and systemic human rights violations through international judicial mechanisms.

- Dignified & Safe Return: Creating real, safe, and sustainable conditions that allow refugees to return home voluntarily with guaranteed rights and security.
- Sustained International Support: Continued global solidarity and humanitarian aid to support refugees and host communities.
